During the weekend of July 16-18, Den 5 braved soggy weather in pursuit of knowledge, friendship and s'mores. The Webelos (Seth, Marty, Sean, John and Cian) worked hard to earn a number of pins, belt loops and activity badges. They helped setup camp, cooked, cleaned, built fires and lobbed pine cones at one another. When it rained Friday afternoon, they headed into Rocky Mountain National Park and studied geology and nature at Park facilities. The weather cooperated when it counted most-- during our hike into Wild Basin and, most importantly, during campfires! It was a great experience for scouts and their dads!.
Thank you for viewing these photos and sharing our trip with us.
